Sooooo nice to be able to pop in for a quick meal again AND enjoy easily one of the best views over Halifax. Choose from desserts and main meals including their famous Swedish meatballs or salmon with potato leek medallions (delish!)... and they even have poutine! Trust me - you'll need the energy to make it through the entire store from top to bottom!
The portion is just the right amount and I just found out that on Tuesdays, 50% off for seniors. Not sure if this applies to only members, but give it a try. Besides that, we do enjoy having a meal in the restaurant of IKEA
I enjoy the plant-based meatballs, vegetarian medallions, and tomato soup. However, the salmon is inconsistent; sometimes it's good, but other times it's smelly. Don't recommend the diam cake because of powdery texture.
Oh the joy of wandering through an IKEA when you live too far from one it's awesome. Place is just nice to wander through you can always find some great stuff. Shout out to the awesome food court staff for having a few wonderful gluten free food options....the gluten free chocolate cake....Christ you need to sell that!!! I went back up and bought some to take home! But again great place nice staff and good location.
When you go shopping here, all you smell upstairs is food—it will make you hungry. The best Swiss meatballs ever! The staff was very accommodating. I didn't get a photo of our food orders because we were rushing to return home before dark—mind you, we were travelling from Yarmouth. One-stop shopping with restaurants upstairs is ideal for travellers with little time to explore the city. The restaurant is well thought out for people who travel far to shop here.
Good food, reasonably priced, healthy options too. I got the plant-based meatballs, with salad, and zucchini-corn side. Carrot cake for dessert is delicious!
We had a wonderful breakfast at IKEA Restaurant today! The food was delicious, with great taste and quality at very reasonable prices. The restaurant was spotless, maintaining the high standard of cleanliness IKEA is known for. I also loved the additional dining area—it made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a simple yet satisfying breakfast!
I love coming here for an inexpensive meal sometimes! You just can't beat the price and I actually like the food. I always get the veggie balls and enjoy the generous amount of veggies. And 6 for local Pino Grigio? Amazing! We get 2 entrees, 1 wine, coffee and a desert for 30. Kids love it too of course. And the best part? The view!
